finding purpose during finals week

sounds impossible, i know.

but i was convicted, during singspo last night, that i can glorify God by studying.
i am stressed out and sleep deprived, but even in this state, i want to do it for Him.
i also had a mini-epiphany that procrastination is not pleasing to God.
yup, shocking...i know.

and yet, here i am, with the impending doom of my foundations of christian thought looming over me. i will probably be up late and wake up early to make sure i have all the terms and definitions down. most of them will probably fly out of my head the second my pencil hits that scantron, but in cramming, i can worship.
it's interesting that this is the topic of my entry, since one of my favorite things i learned from dr. horner this semester in foundations is this...

spiritual VS. secular is NOT a biblical idea.
if Jesus is Christ is Lord of your life, of ALL of your life, then everything is spiritual.
if He is Lord at all, then He is Lord OF ALL.
God doesn't compartmentalize.

worship is everything, and everything is worship.

and whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
-colossians 3:17

and that's not to say that there is no such thing as secular, or that there is no difference at all between kinds of activities, but the point is that all things are spiritual...make sense?

(most of this is in excerpt form from dr. horner's coursepack/notes)

ok, now back to studying...
