colorado here we come!

finals are just around the corner, but first...THANKSGIVING.

this year i am spending the holiday with the pugh family in montrose, colorado.
jess lives in colorado and her roommate abby and i will all be embarking on a 13 hour drive.
we'll go northeast through the width of california, right through las vegas, nevada (!!!), through the corner of arizona for a small while, then through utah and finally into colorado about 60 miles (courtesy of google maps).
it looks like i may even be driving right past mount zion national park where i spent a few days with my youth group when we traveled to salt lake city for a national youth conference.

i'm excited for the cold(-ish) weather and possibly snow when we go get the family a christmas tree! and finally, we will be allowed to listen to christmas music (SOME people i know, have a strong passion for waiting until after thanksgiving, no exceptions, lol). and maybe, just maybe, i will venture out on black friday.

i love to people watch, and having hadrly any money will keep me from joining in on the insanity. i think it'll be pretty entertaining to just watch soccer moms beat the crap out of each other over discounted electronics.

also, on the roommate front...
i have been worrying about where and with whom i will be living for the spring semester of school. after talking to a lot of girls, the housing department, and countless RA's, having others scout out possible options, facebook stalking prospective roommates, and A LOT of prayer...God has provided! i will be moving from the fourth floor of hope hall to the second floor (that's where abby and jess live now). i have a new roommate and a new room :) God is so faithful.

on that note, i need to stop procrastinating and PACK (we're leaving at 6 am tomorrow!)...
