unbelievable

how this summer has flown by!

tomorrow is AUGUST 1!!!
i guess time flies when you're having fun!

tomorrow julie is driving to maryland and i am so excited to see her at church on sunday :)
it's my very last weekend in maryland, then my last week in virginia with my cousins and my aunt. it's been just an amazing experience spending the summer with them. it's not a situation that could have been foreseen and it's definitely not a situation anyone was happy with, but through it i have been able to grow closer to my cousins and my aunt. dana and i have a project we need to hurry up and start...then rush rush rush to get it finished. we are making a quilt and there is soooo much to do!

abby and i have been playing phone tag, i NEEED to talk to her!
amanda is busy making a love connection back home in california ;) we've still managed to keep in touch. i have so many phone calls to make, they're piling up :/

in other news...
I WENT TO A DEMOLITION DERBY!!!!
and it was amazing. it is such a redneck thing to do (right up there with nascar in my book), but it was such a blast. we all rooted for our favorite car and even got a little dirty...the cars would come sliding (drifting?) close to the fence and the dirt would shower over us. yeah, ok that part wasn't so fun. but overall it was definitely an interesting experience.
